Sea Cloud Cruises, which had looked to start sailing in March/April, is delaying until early May instead.

New Mediterranean itineraries are planned, all operating round-trip.

Piraeus, Nice and Civitavecchia homeports

Sea Cloud will be the first ship in the fleet to begin, on May 7, with cruises from Piraeus to the Greek Islands. Sea Cloud II will start on June 2, with voyages from Nice alternating along the Côte d'Azur and around Corsica. The new Sea Cloud Spirit's maiden voyage is now set for June 2 from Civitavecchia (Rome) and voyages from there will focus on Sicily and Tuscany.

'Because we are focusing on one country and one region per ship, we can bring each destination particularly close to our guests,' Managing Director Daniel Schäfer said. The company has planned itineraries that give deep insight into the respective destinations.

All the voyages until middle August comply with current COVID-19 restrictions, and the company´s hygiene and prevention protocols have been certified by classification society DNV GL.
