Genoa is a new destination for Windstar Cruises in its just-released 2025/26 winter Mediterranean program
As one of very few cruise lines to sail the Mediterranean in winter, Windstar Cruises is leaning into the growing trend of off-season travel.

The line's just-announced 2025/2026 winter Mediterranean voyages include six unique itineraries plus six 'Star Collectors' (combination sailings). These competitively priced Star Collector sailings include free laundry service.

Sailings depart from Piraeus, Barcelona, Málaga, Civitavecchia (Rome) and Venice from November 2025 through March 2026. Among them are seven- and eight-day cruises in the Aegean; a Greece, Sicily and Corinth Canal combo; southern Spain; Italy and the Dalmatian coast. 'Star Collectors' range from 14 to 24 days.

Early booking offer

Windstar is pairing an early booking offer that includes a $200 onboard credit per stateroom with a free upgrade to its all-inclusive fares option. That means Wi-Fi, gratuities and unlimited beer, wine and cocktails are at no additional charge. The offer expires Oct. 31, 2025.

'Sailing year-round in the Mediterranean has been very successful for Windstar, so much so that we are now expanding our winter offerings due to its popularity,' President Chris Prelog said, adding winter gives more opportunity to get to know the locals and to celebrate holidays like Christmas in Florence, New Year's in Dubrovnik and Carnevale across Italy. Plus, airfare is less expensive.

Genoa a new destination

Cruises highlight ports Windstar doesn’t normally visit during the summer like Valencia, Spain; Crotone, Italy; and Catania, Sicily. Genoa joins as a new destination for the line in a 'Winter Europe's Winter Riviera' cruise from Barcelona to Civitavecchia. Overnight stays are scheduled in Dubrovnik, Venice, Nice, Barcelona, Málaga and Livorno (gateway to Florence).

Shore excursions will offer experiences for first time and returning visitors.
