Viking Saturn continues the oceangoing series for Viking that began in 2015
Fincantieri's Ancona shipyard delivered Viking Saturn, 10th in a 47,800gt, 930-passenger series for Viking.

Viking Saturn features all-veranda accommodations, two swimming pools including an infinity pool at the stern; several dining venues, some with alfresco seating; and a Nordic-style spa with sauna and snow cave.

Rottet Studios and SMC Design

The modern Scandinavian interiors are by Los Angeles-based Rottet Studios and London-based SMC Design.

Viking's ocean ships have been classed by Lloyd's Register since the first was delivered in 2015.

Viking Saturn is scheduled to spend its inaugural season on two new itineraries: 'Iconic Iceland, Greenland & Canada,' between New York City and Reykjavik, and 'Iceland & Norway's Arctic Explorer,' between Reykjavik and Bergen.

June 6 naming in New York

The ship is planned to be officially named by Ann Ziff, philanthropist and chairman of the Metropolitan Opera, a longtime Viking cultural partner, during June 6 festivities in New York.
