Disney Cruise Line revenues 'strong,' Q4 occupancy at 98%

Disney Cruise Line showed 'strong revenue and operating income growth' in the third quarter, Walt Disney Co. CEO Bob Iger said Wednesday.

Iger said current Q4 booked occupancy for the five-ship fleet is at 98%.

Three new ships

The line will be adding two ships in fiscal 2025 — Disney Treasure and the former Global Dream, which is being completed by Meyer Werft at MV Werften — and another newbuild in fiscal 2026, nearly doubling current capacity.

Earlier this month, MV Werften Wismar, which was acquired by Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems in June 2022was subleased to Meyer to complete Global Dream, which will be renamed for Disney service from Singapore.

Disney Treasure details coming soon

Meanwhile, Disney Treasure advances at Meyer Werft in Papenburg; first details of the ship are to be released later this month.
