Cruise Traveller is the exclusive representative and general sales agent in Australia for Nicko which is headquartered in Germany and celebrated 30 years of cruising last year.
Originally a river cruise operator, the line has two ocean ships — the 200-passenger World Voyager and the 1,000-passenger Vasco da Gama, formerly Holland America Line’s Statendam and P&O Cruises Australia’s Pacific Eden.
Vasco da Gama’s 183-day world cruise departs Lisbon on October 10, returning on April 8, 2024.

On November 1, passengers from Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth will be flown to Cape Town for one night’s accommodation before joining the ship to sail to 43 ports.
The vessel will visit Madagascar, the Maldives, Seychelles and Reunion, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Cambodia, the Philippines and Indonesia, with 14 overnight stays.

Vasco da Gama will arrive in Darwin (January 18, 2024), Cooktown (January 21), Cairns (January 23), Townsville (January 24) and Brisbane (January 26) before arriving in Sydney on January 28.
After Sydney, the ship calls at Eden, Melbourne, Burnie, Port Arthur and Hobart before heading to New Zealand and French Polynesia en route to the Panama Canal.
The flight from Australia, hotel in Cape Town and 86 nights on board Vasco Da Gama with a Classic Beverage package costs from A$33,995 per person twin-share and from A$38,375 for solo travellers.
There are substantial savings on bookings made by March 31.
