Gals Abroad Getaways founder Alle Pierce officially named Riverside Debussy in Amsterdam festivities on Friday.

The event took place on the opening day of ASTA's 2024 River Cruise Expo.

Riverside Debussy’s inaugural season starts March 23 with a five-night voyage from Brussels to Amsterdam and continues with three- to seven-night itineraries on the Rhine, Danube, Main and Moselle rivers. During select cruises, the vessel will transit the Main-Danube Canal to sail further along the Danube to Serbia and Croatia.

Third vessel in the Riverside fleet

'We are happy to launch Riverside Debussy, our third luxury river ship to join the Riverside Luxury Cruises fleet,' said Gregor Gerlach, co-owner of Seaside Collection, parent company of Riverside Luxury Cruises. 'We are dedicated to delivering Europe’s most luxurious experience with the best ships and best dining on Europe’s most captivating rivers.'

Riverside Debussy joins Riverside Mozart and Riverside Ravel.

More for travel advisors to sell

Travel advisors now have a third all-inclusive luxury river cruise option for their clients, added Jen Halboth, CEO of Riverside Luxury Cruises, the Americas. 'We appreciate travel advisors’ indispensable role, and they can trust in Riverside to deliver a most memorable and luxurious experience to their clients that will generate repeat business,' she said.

Itineraries

In late May, Riverside Debussy heads eastward on the Main River and transits the Main-Danube Canal to offer seven-night Danube cruises with departures from Nuremburg and Regensburg, Germany, and Budapest, Hungary. On June 5 and Sept. 25 Riverside Debussy embarks on cruises from Budapest to Belgrade, Serbia, with stops at Mohacs, Hungary; Vukovar, Croatia; and Novi Sad, Serbia.

Three- and four-night Germany voyages depart from Nuremburg, Frankfurt, Trier and Düsseldorf in early July, September and late October.

From late November through the New Year, Riverside Debussy will visit the Christmas Markets of Germany on three- to six-night itineraries departing from Vienna, Nuremburg, Amsterdam and Dusseldorf. The vessel caps its 2024 season with a 10-night Christmas and New Year cruise from Basel to Amsterdam.
