It's a go: Aman/Cruise Saudi ink superyacht newbuild contract at T. Mariotti

The yacht, to be named, will have 50 sumptuous suites
The long-awaited Project Sama superyacht is becoming a reality with Neptune Co., a joint venture of Aman Group and Cruise Saudi, signing a newbuild deal at T. Mariotti.

The 183-meter vessel, of approximately 23,000gt, features Mariotti’s first dual-fuel powered newbuild. The superyacht is expected to enter service in 2026 under a name to be announced.

The price was not disclosed.

Plans for Aman and Cruise Saudi to team on a superyacht were first announced in late 2021.

Joins Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, Orient Express

With this, Aman becomes the latest hotel company to enter the cruise arena, joining The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Four Seasons Yachts and Accor/Orient Express.

50 sumptuous suites

Neptune Co. is calling it a 'luxury resort at sea.'

The exterior profile and accommodations are by world-renowned yacht designers SINOT. Project Sama will offer 50 sumptuous suites, spacious public areas and entertainment facilities.

Local suppliers and subcontractors who will be working on this concept include Dewave, responsible for luxury interior finishing, and Ortec Santamaria, for the electrical systems.
