More wave season deals, from cruise lines big and small

Costa North America deals on Europe

Costa North America is offering savings up to $800 on select Mediterranean and northern Europe itineraries in 2022 when booked by Feb. 28. As an added bonus, travelers receive a $100 per person onboard credit, totaling $200 per cabin.

Wave sale deals are available on European cruises departing from April through November. Most itineraries are seven days, but 10- to 13-day trips are to be had, too. Ships include Costa’s two newest, Costa Smeralda and Costa Firenze, as well as Costa Deliziosa, Costa Fascinosa, Costa Favolosa, Costa Fortuna and Costa Luminosa.

UnCruise Adventures' savings and sweepstakes

Through April 15, travelers who book a wave season deal will also be entered into UnCruise Adventures' sweepstakes to win a seven-night cruise for two in Hawaii, the Pacific Northwest or Sea of Cortez during 2023. This incentive is worth up to $15,500. Winners will be chosen May 1.

Savings include $1,000 off the 'Baja and Bergs' combination of Sea of Cortez and Alaska, seven nights each for a 14-night program. Other deals are $500 savings on the line's most adventurous Alaska outback itinerary, the 'Wild, Woolly & WOW' trip on Wilderness Legacy. And $750 savings including one night free hotel stay in Alaska or Juneau are available with Wilderness Legacy's 12-night cruise.

The single supplement is waived on all Wilderness Legacy Alaska 2022 itineraries. Also, groups of eight or more can save 25% on any Wilderness Legacy 2022 itinerary.

Celestyal Cruises' 'Escape Back to the Blue'

Celestyal Cruises' 'Escape Back to the Blue' wave campaign offers up to 30% off the price of select 2022 sailings booked through March 31. Prices start as low as $449 on the three-night 'Iconic Aegean' itinerary, normally priced at $610. The seven-night 'Idyllic Aegean' itinerary, normally $1,500, has been reduced to $1,019.

'Iconic Aegean' sets sail from Athens and calls at Mykonos, Kusadasi (Turkey), Patmos, Heraklion (Crete) and Santorini, while 'Idyllic Aegean' begins in Athens and visits Thessaloniki, Kusadasi, Rhodes, Heraklion, Santorini, Mykonos and Milos.

The Celestyal All-Inclusive Experience provides unlimited classic drinks, select shore excursions, port, service charges and gratuities.

During the wave campaign, children 12 years and younger sharing the same stateroom with their parents sail for free. Solo travelers also get a reduced solo supplement on select departures.

Scenic river and ocean savings

Scenic offers available for the North American market are available with new bookings made by March 31. On the rivers of Europe and Southeast Asia, Scenic shaving up to 10% off all 2023 sailings if the booking is paid in full 12 months prior to departure, with a $250 bonus savings on 2022 departures if the trip is paid in full at booking.

Other offers include free economy air with select seven- to nine-night cruises, $395 economy air with four-night itineraries and free premium economy air on select sailings of 10 nights or longer. River offers are combinable with loyalty bonus offers, travel show vouchers, early payment savings, future travel vouchers and group rates.

On the oceans, passengers booking Scenic Eclipse can save up to 20% on 2022 North, Central and South American itineraries, with $350 savings on all other 2022 cruises if paid in full at time of booking. Passengers on the 2022 North, Central and South American sailings can also take advantage of two-for-one business class flights. And up to a 20% discount on 2023 Scenic Eclipse cruises is available if paid in full 12 months before departure. These offers are combinable with group savings.

Emerald Cruises' 'It's Your Time to Travel'

Scenic sister brand Emerald Cruises is tempting North Americans with savings up to $3,500 per couple on river sailings and up to 25% on yacht cruises when booked by March 31. This is part of the 'It’s Your Time to Travel' wave campaign, running through March 31.

Travelers booking select 2022 or 2023 European or Southeast Asia river cruises can save up to $2,500 per couple on any suite depending on length of sailing. Those booking 2022 cruises qualify for extra savings of up to $1,000 per couple in a panorama balcony suite on the Horizon Deck (in Europe) and Horizon or Pool Deck cabin (Asia) for a total possible savings of $3,500 per couple.

Anyone looking to sail on the soon-to-launch super-yacht Emerald Azzurra in 2022 can save up to 15% and receive a free drinks package including all beer, wine and spirits on select sailings. Additionally, those paying in full at the time of booking will receive an additional savings of $500 per couple.

Travelers booking a 2023 sailing on Emerald Azzurra or sister super-yacht Emerald Sakara can save up to 25% when paying in full 12 months before departure.

Star Clippers' 'Two-Plus-Two'

Star Clippers is offering a 'Two-Plus-Two' deal on select sailings through March 2023.

Passengers who book by Jan. 22, 2022, will receive a 10% discount off the cruise fare and pre-paid gratuities, plus a $100 onboard credit and bottle of Champagne per cabin. This wave offer is valid for residents of North, Central and South America.

Eligible sailings include destinations such as the Greek Islands, Rome and the Amalfi Coast, Croatia, the French Riviera and Caribbean cruises from St. Maarten or Barbados to the British Virgin Islands, Barbuda, Dominica or Bequia, among others. In winter 2022/23, travelers can sail to Panama, Costa Rica or Nicaragua — a destination Star Clippers hasn’t visited since 2014.
