Following successful seasons at the Sydney Opera House and in the West End of London, the burlesque show ‘Blanc de Blanc’ will return Down Under to perform year-round aboard P&O Cruises Australia’s Pacific Adventure.

The ship, currently sailing as Princess Cruises’ Golden Princess, will join the fleet next October.

‘Blanc de Blanc has been one of my most sought-after shows on land,’ said Australian director Scott Maidment, who masterminded the show ‘Love Riot’ for P&O Cruises Australia’s flagship Pacific Explorer, formerly Princess Cruises’ Dawn Princess.

'A wild night of big moves'

Maidment said the show brings together the finest cabaret and acrobatic talent from around the world. According to the publicity blurb, Blanc de Blanc creates ‘a wild night of big moves, great tunes, huge amounts of skin and more than a few surprises.’

‘It is strictly for adults looking to enjoy a glass of Champagne or two and plenty of laughter with copious amounts of effervescent energy,’ he said. ‘We know P&O guests enjoy shows that break the mould and I can’t wait to bring this show to the ship.’

P&O Cruises Head of Entertainment Brett Annable said the show will be a stand-out attraction in Pacific Adventure’s cabaret venue, Black Circus.

Puttting the 'wow' into shipboard shows

‘Pacific Adventure’s arrival will provide us with another opportunity to keep shaking up traditional cruise ship entertainment and put the "wow" into the world of on-board production shows,’ Annable said.
