Ambassador Cruise Line named Fremantle as a port of embarkation and disembarkation for the upcoming ‘Grand Round the World Cruise’ to be operated by the 1,400-passenger Ambience.

The new sector opens bookings from London Tilbury to Fremantle and from Fremantle to London Tilbury.

As previously reported, Ambience departs London Tilbury on January 6 and will visit 34 ports in 24 countries on six continents.

Maiden calls in Australia

She will sail into Australian waters from Auckland for the first time when she arrives in Sydney on February 24, continues to Melbourne on February 26 and Adelaide on February 28, before arriving in Fremantle on March 3.

‘We are thrilled to be offering guests further options to book on our inaugural Grand Round the World Cruise, with the additional sector a clear reflection of the high demand in the strongly rebounding Australian travel industry,’ CEO Christian Verhounig said.

Exciting milestone

‘Entering the Australian and New Zealand cruise market is an exciting milestone for Ambassador and we look forward to offering those coming on board Ambience the warmest welcome at sea and an unforgettable cruise experience,’ Verhounig said.
