Royal Caribbean International's expanded short-cruise lineup in 2024-25 includes Allure of the Seas, the first Oasis-class ship to sail three-/four-night jaunts.

Allure will extend its short Caribbean season homeporting from Port Canaveral, Mariner of the Seas will sail from Royal Caribbean's new, net-zero cruise terminal in Galveston for the first time, and four more 'amplified' ships will cruise from four cities in Florida, Texas and California.

Many cruises visit Perfect Day at CocoCay, where the new, adults-only Hideaway Beach opens in late 2023, or Labadee, Haiti. Other destinations include Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), Roatán and Puerto Vallarta.

Year-round short cruises

Offering the first Oasis-class three-/four-day cruises, Allure of the Seas will sail to the Bahamas (Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay) from Port Canaveral until July 2023 before settling in PortMiami for the remainder of the year.

Also from Miami, the 'amplified' Independence of the Seas will offer five-night western Caribbean and CocoCay cruises and four-night eastern Caribbean sailings that visit Labadee.

Mariner of the Seas' first sailings from Galveston will be four- and five-night getaways to Costa Maya and Cozumel.

And year-round from Los Angeles, Navigator of the Seas will offer three-, four- and seven-night cruises to such destinations as Catalina Island, Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, Ensenada and Mazatlán.

Seasonal short cruises

Sailing from Tampa, a smaller ship — Enchantment of the Seas — will offer four- and five-night cruises to Cozumel and Costa Maya. In the heat of summer, vacationers can opt for seven-night adventures to Roatán, Belize City, Cozumel, Costa Maya and Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Grandeur of the Seas will continue sailing from Tampa through the summer and on four- and five-night escapes to destinations like Perfect Day at CocoCay and Cozumel. In the winter, new sailings visit Labadee and Puerto Plata.

Following a summer in the Big Apple (Cape Liberty in Bayonne), Liberty of the Seas will return to Port Everglades for three-/four-night cruises to CocoCay and Nassau on every sailing.

From Port Canaveral, Voyager of the Seas will offer four- and five-night winter getaways on a varied lineup of eastern and western Caribbean itineraries to Nassau, CocoCay, Cozumel, Puerto Plata and Labadee.
