Seabourn Pursuit embarked on its inaugural voyage from Valletta, Malta
Seabourn Pursuit welcomed its first passengers Saturday in Valletta, Malta, for an eight-day voyage to Civitavecchia (Rome).

Seabourn's second purpose-built expedition ship will be sailing five Mediterranean cruises before beginning its expedition-style sailings.

Seabourn President Natalya Leahy noted that for 10 years, Seabourn has offered expedition experiences and said Pursuit and Seabourn Venture are taking those to the next level.

Caribbean, South America, Antarctica

After Seabourn Pursuit's Mediterranean debut, the ship will head across the Atlantic and through the Caribbean. On Oct. 10 in Barbados, Seabourn Pursuit will begin its expedition journeys to South America, the Amazon and Antarctica into late March 2024.

South Pacific, the Kimberley and beyond

After that, the ship will head to the South Pacific islands en route to Australia, where it will explore the Kimberley and Western Australia between June and August 2024. Other destinations include Papua New Guinea, West Papua, Indonesia and a voyage between Melanesia and Chile.
